Proud to be an American! Happy 4th of July!

Hi, this is Brandon, usually I would leave the blogging for Jill, but I have to interject a couple of my comments....It's the 4th of July tomorrow (my birthday) but more importantly it's America's birthday... Looking back on the greatest nation on earth and how much good we've brought into the world I am truly thankful to be an American! Through Divine inspiration our founding fathers started something great! Happy 4th everyone!

My beautiful kids....

I thought I'd put a post up about the kids since long distance relatives don't get to see them very much....













Mason.... This boy doesn't stop.... between school work and sports he keeps us busy... I'm glad it's summer so we don't have to deal with school right now!

• Soccer... he just made a competitive soccer team!

Boy Scouts... Has almost completed 2nd class rank.

Track... discus, and relay team winners.

Band... playing trumpet.

Basketball

4.0 grade point average.

He also was selected in a writing competition held by the local Lions Club for a Paper on Patriotism!



Brooklyn... she is my little sugar Bee!

• Soccer.... She too has made a competitive soccer team.

Yes, I'm the crazy Soccer Mom with three kids in soccer!

We also went to a soccer clinic and met Mia Hamm! It was awesome! Autographed ball and everything!

• She just finished 3rd grade... with high marks from her teacher who stated she has excellent creative writing and art work.
  

Keaton BOO!... He is our little computer genius and is only 4 years old...

• He loves to get online to play toon town and webkinz...

• He wouldn't be a Rankin kid if he too wasn't playing soccer.....
• He loves the monkey bars...and can do them all by himself....
• Our neighbor calls him an "old soul"... he already has things in life figured out.... we love him!
  

Bridger baby Bear!.... He has turned two years old...

And yes he is the definition of terrible two! but we still love him... it's a good thing he's cute.

• We had a BBQ with friends and family for his birthday!

• He loves playng in the sprinklers!

  

.... They all keep us busy but each one brings so much joy and love into our home!

Carrie Underwood Concert

Brooklyn and I went to the Carrie Underwood concert with Grandma and Aunt Becky... which was awesome... not only did we have great seats, it was just "the girls" night out!
